Bengals Sign CBs Trajan Bandy & Donnie Lewis To Practice Squad

The Bengals announced they have signed CBs Trajan Bandy and Donnie Lewis to the practice squad. 

Cincinnati’s practice squad now includes:

  3. DB Trayvon Henderson
  4. WR Trenton Irwin
  5. WR Stanley Morgan
  6. RB Jacques Patrick
  7. DB Winston Rose (COVID-19)
  8. WR Scotty Washington
  9. TE Mitchell Wilcox
  10. LB Keandre Jones
  11. DB Torry McTyer (Injured)
  12. G Deion Calhoun
  13. DT Andrew Brown
  14. DB Jalen Davis
  15. DT Khalil McKenzie
  16. G Quinton Spain
  17. DB Brian Allen  
  18. CB Trajan Bandy
  19. CB Donnie Lewis

Lewis, 24, was drafted in the seventh round by the Browns out of Tulane in 2019. He signed a four-year, $2.6 million rookie deal but was waived coming out of the preseason and re-signed to the practice squad. 

Lewis bounced on and off the practice squad as a rookie before re-signing on a futures deal for 2020 in Cleveland. He was once again cut coming out of camp. 

Lewis has yet to appear in an NFL game. 

Bandy, 21, signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Miami following the 2020 draft. Pittsburgh cut him coming out of camp and re-signed him to the practice squad before releasing him again in September. 

During his three-year college career, Bandy recorded 90 total tackles, three sacks, one forced fumble, three recoveries, four interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, and 23 pass defenses in 36 career games.
