According to Pro Football Talk, the Bengals have signed OL John Jerry.
The Bengals announced they also waived G Rod Taylor in a corresponding move to make room for Jerry on the 90-man roster.
Jerry did not play during the 2018 season after being released by the Giants coming out of the preseason.
Jerry, 32, is a former third-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with the Dolphins before signing a one-year agreement with the Giants in March of 2015.
Jerry returned to the Giants again in 2016 on another one-year contract and was later re-signed to a three-year, $10 million deal. Unfortunately, New York released him coming out of the preseason.
In 2017, Jerry appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 36 guard out of 78 qualifying players.
