The Cincinnati Bengals announced the signings of TE Kevin Brock and P Zoltan Mesko on Tuesday.
- The Bengals waived P Shawn Powell in order to make room for Mesko.
With tight ends Jermaine Gresham and Tyler Eifert both missing Week 17 ‘s game due to injuries, it makes sense that the Bengals would be looking to add some extra depth at the position to go along with Orson Charles.
There is still a chance that Eifert will be able to suit for their Wild-Card game against the San Diego Chargers, but we should know more regarding his status in the coming days.
Powell didn’t last long in Cincinnati and it probably doesn’t help that he had a punt last weekend that only traveled just 10 yards .
Mesko, 27, has 55 career games under his belt, but was released by the Steelers back in Week 8 after dealing with struggles of his own.
