Perkins has informed the Bengals that he intends to retire from the NFL.
Perkins, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Texas back in 2017. He was waived at the start of the regular season and later signed to the Bengals practice squad.
Cincinnati eventually promoted Perkins to their active roster towards the end of the 2017 season, but he wound up spending most of last year on their taxi squad.
In 2017, Perkins was active for one game.
