Bill Parcells was asked about his future after he had announced that he would be leaving the Miami Dolphins a few weeks ago. Parcells responded by saying, “I am not a sit-around-the-fireplace guy. I don’t know. I am not certain about it. We will see what happens when the time comes. I know I want to do something even if it is not day-to-day or something like that. I know I want to do something. I don’t like sitting around. I like to get up and go do something. We will figure it out when the time comes.”
Parcells contract with the Dolphins will allow him to leave at any time and still be paid his $12 million salary for the 2011 season.
It looks like teams will not only be lining up for Bill Cowher‘s services but possibly for Parcells as well.
