Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Bills brought in former Jets sixth-round pick QBย Tajh Boyd for a workout on Tuesday.
Boyd was among the Jets’ final roster cuts a few weeks ago and wound up passing through waivers unclaimed.
He really struggled during training camp and in the preseason, so there is no guarantee that the Bills would even bring him aboard as a practice squad player.
Boyd put together a great college career that includes several ACC records, but there has always been concerns about how his game translates to the NFL.
During his four-year career at Clemson, Boyd throw for 11,904 yards and completed 64.3 percent of his passes to go along with 107 touchdowns and 39 interceptions.
