Theย Bills have claimed DTย Jordan Phillips off of waivers from the Dolphins on Wednesday and releasedย DT Robert Thomas.
Phillips, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2015. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $4,362,908 contract and set to make a base salary of $1,029,942 for the 2018 season.
The Dolphins elected to waive Phillips on Tuesday after he had seen a reduced role in recent weeks and clearly wasn’t happy about it.
In 2018, Phillips appeared in four games for the Dolphins and recorded five tackles, one sack and a pass defense.
