Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey announced on Wednesday that defensive end Mario Williams underwent a procedure on his left wrist, per Chris Brown.
Brown adds that Williams, who has compiled an underwhelming 3.5 sacks in seven games, should be ready to practice next week, after the Bills’ Week 8 bye.
If Williams is good to go after that, his next game will be against his former team, Houston, in Week 9. A healthy Williams without an ailing wrist to bother him should greatly benefit the Buffalo defense.
