Bills Expected To Go With Vince Young As Backup QB

According to Joe Buscaglia WGR 550 Buffalo, the winner of the Buffalo Bills backup quarterback competition “has been decided” in favor of Vince Young.

Young has been competing with Tyler Thigpen for the job, and although Young has only a limited amount of effectiveness throughout training camp and the preseason, he still looks like the better option. Last night, Young connected on a deep pass down the middle of the field with rookie WR T.J. Graham. The play went for 64 yards and at least highlighted the fact that he can make some plays down the field. Hopefully for the Bills, he won’t see any playing time because of Ryan Fitzpatrick‘s play this season.
