Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that veteran RB Frank Gore should still have decent interest this offseason, despite his advanced age.
According to Garafolo, the Bills have some interest in possibly signing Gore and pairing him with LeSean McCoy.
Garafolo adds that Buffalo is interested in some other running backs as well and there’s no guarantee they’ll bring in Gore, but it’s at least something to keep an eye on.
Gore, 35, is a former third-round pick of the 49ers back in 2005. He spent 10 seasons in San Francisco before signing a three-year, $12 million contract that included $7.5 million guaranteed with the Colts back in 2015.
Gore played out the final year of his contract before agreeing to a one-year, $1.015 million contract with the Dolphins last year. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent again this offseason.
In 2018, Gore appeared in 14 games for the Dolphins and rushed for 722 yards on 156 carries (4.6 YPC) to go along with 12 receptions for 124 yards receiving and one touchdown.
