Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Bills are bringing in free agentย CB Phillip Gaines for a visit next week.
Gaines met with the Colts last week and Garafolo says that it appears as though the Chiefs plan to move on from him this offseason.
Gaines, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,824,112 contract and made a base salary of $700,000 before becoming an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2017, Gaines appeared in 14 games for the Chiefs and recorded 30 tackles, no interceptions and three pass defenses.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 119 cornerbackย out of 120 qualifying players.
