Bills RB Frank Gore Plans To Keep Playing In 2020

NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo reports that Bills RB Frank Gore plans to keep playing in 2020 as long as someone will sign him.

Gore is set to be a free agent in two weeks after spending the 2019 season with the Bills. He’s training and preparing for what will be his 16th NFL season at the age of 37.

Buffalo has seemingly indicated re-signing him isn’t a priority, so Gore likely will need to find another team to give him a chance.

Gore, 36, is a former third-round pick of the 49ers back in 2005. He spent 10 seasons in San Francisco before signing a three-year, $12 million contract that included $7.5 million guaranteed with the Colts back in 2015.

Gore played out the final year of his contract before agreeing to a one-year, $1.015 million contract with the Dolphins in 2018. He signed a one-year deal with the Bills in 2019.

In 2019, Gore appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and rushed for 599 yards on 166 carries (3.6 YPC) with two touchdowns to go along with 13 receptions for 100 yards receiving.
