Bills Release G Quinton Spain

The Buffalo Bills announced Wednesday that they’ve released veteran G Quinton Spain.

Spain implied he was being cut in an earlier Twitter post:

Spain, 29, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia back in 2014. He has managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his first three seasons in the NFL.

After playing out his rookie contract with Tennessee, Spain agreed to a one-year deal with the Bills last season. He later agreed to a three-year contract is worth $15 million with the Bills this past offseason.

In 2020, Spain has appeared in four games for the Bills, making two starts for them.

  1. Not very happy about this… Was hoping he could be reinserted into the lineup to help our running game get going. Should have cut Brian Winters instead.
