Tom Pelissero reports that the Bills have released veteran LB Sam Barrington from the injured reserve list with an injury settlement.
Pelissero adds that Barrington “should” be recovered from his injury within the next couple of weeks.
Barrington, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Packers in 2013. He spent three years in Green Bay before he was waived at the start of last season and later claimed off of waivers by the Chiefs.
Kansas City cut him loose after a few months and he finished out the year with the Saints. The Bills signed him to a contract in July, making his stint with Buffalo short-lived.
In 2016, Barrington appeared in seven games and recorded two tackles.
