The Buffalo Bills announced the release of WR Brandon Kaufman on Friday.
The Bills receiver depth chart currently consists of:
- Sammy Watkins
- Robert Woods
- Mike Williams
- Marquise Goodwin
- T.J. Graham
- Marcus Easley
- Chris Hogan
- Ramses Barden
- Chris Summers
Kaufman, 23, was signed to a reserve/future contract back in January, but the Bills have made an effort to bring revamp their receiving corps this offseason, which included trading Stevie Johnson, acquiring in Mike Williams from the Buccaneers and moving up in the draft for Sammy Watkins.
Kaufman originally signed with the signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington. He offers plenty of size at 6-foot-5, but he isn’t close to being a polished receiver at this point.
