According to Chris Brown, the Bills have released WR Ray-Ray McCloud and OL Garrett McGhin.
Teams have the option to either cut down to 80 players now or work in two groups in the facility until August 16 before cutting down, so it appears the Bills might be choosing the former.
Buffalo’s roster is now at 86 players.
McCloud, 23, is a former sixth-round pick of the Bills back in 2018. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2.6 million contract when he was waived by the Bills coming out of the preseason.
The Panthers claimed McCloud off of waivers soon after before waiving him in October. McCloud returned to the Bills’ practice squad a few days later and re-signed to a futures deal this offseason.
In 2019, McCloud appeared in six games for the Panthers and totaled 174 kick return yards and 82 punt return yards.
