The Buffalo Bills announced Monday that they’ve signed OLย Russell Bodineย and OT Marshall Newhouse.
Both players recently visited with the Bills, who are clearly looking to bolster their offensive line depth.
Bodine gets a two-year contract while Newhouse receives a one-year deal from Buffalo.
Bodine, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bengals back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,676,456 contract and was testing the open market for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2017, Bodine appeared in all 16 games for the Bengals and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 26 center out of 38 qualifying players.
Newhouse, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Packers back in 2010. He spent three years with the Packers before signing a one-year contract with the Bengals back in March of 2013.
Newhouse spent a few years with the Giants before agreeing to aย two-year, $3.5 million contractย $1.55 million in 2017. He was set to make a base salary of $1.55 million for the 2018 season when the Raiders recently released him in a move that freedย up $2,250,000 of available cap space.
In 2017, Newhouse appeared in 14 games for the Raiders and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 65 offensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players.
