The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that they’ve signed C Spencer Long to a three-year contract and CB Lafayette Pitts to a one-year deal.
- According to Adam Caplan, Long’s three-year contract is worth $13 million and can increase up to $15 million.
Long, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Redskins back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,863,800 contract with the Redskins before agreeing to a four-year, $28 million deal with the Jets last year.
Long was set to make base salaries of $3 million and $6.25 million over the next two years of the agreement when the Jets released him last week.
In 2018, Long appeared in 13 games for the Jets and was rated as the No. 37 center out of 38 qualifying players last year by Pro Football Focus.
