Bills Sign RB T.J. Yeldon

According to Adam Schefter, the Bills are signing RB T.J. Yeldon to a two-year contract.

Yeldon bolsters a Bills running backs corps that already includes LeSean McCoy and Frank Gore. Yeldon had previously visited the Bills and the Patriots.

Yeldon, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2015. He played out his four-year, $5.913 million rookie contract that included $3.699 million guaranteed and made base salaries of $615,000 and $705,000 the last two years.

The Jaguars allowed Yeldon to leave in free agency after he ran afoul of VP Tom Coughlin for behavior on the sidelines toward the end of 2018.

In 2018, Yeldon appeared in 14 games for the Jaguars and rushed for 414 yards on 104 carries (4.0 YPC) and one touchdown to go along with 55 receptions for 487 yards receiving and four touchdowns.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
