The Buffalo Bills announced Thursday that they’ve signed second-round WR Zay Jones to a four-year rookie contract.
According to OverTheCap.com, Jones will receiveย a four-year contract worth $6,779,798, which includes a signing bonus of $3,070,760.
Jones, 22, was selected with the No. 37 overall pick by the Billsย after they elected to trade up with the Rams. In total, the Bills gave up second- and third-round pick in this year’s draft and also acquired a fifth-round pick for the right to select Jones.
During his four-year college career at East Carolina, Jones recordedย 399 receptions for 4,279 yards receiving (10.7 YPC) for 23 touchdowns. He also had five rushing attempts for 18 yards (3.6 YPC).
