The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that they’ve signed WR Victor Bolden off of the 49ers’ practice squad and placed RB Marcus Murphy on injured reserve.
Bolden, 23, signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in May of last year. He was in the second year of a three-year, $1.66 million contract and set to earn a base salary of $555,000 this season when the 49ers waived him a few months ago.
San Francisco re-signed Bolden to their practice squad soon after.
In 2018, Bolden has appeared in four games for the 49ers and caught one pass for 10 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
