The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that they’ve placed TE Blake Annen on waivers.
Annen, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Cincinnati back in 2014 before signing on with the Eagles a few weeks later. Annen has played for a few teams including the Bears, Saints, and Packers before signing on to the Bills’ practice squad during the 2015 season.
Buffalo elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract last year, but he was unable to make the 53-man roster but later reverted to their injured reserve list.
In 2014, Annen appeared in five games for the Bears but did not catch a single pass.
