Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that the Vikings are trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Bills.
- According to Adam Schefter, the Bills will send a first-, fifth-, sixth- and 2021 fourth-round pick to the Vikings for Diggs and a 2020 seventh-round pick.
There have been rumors for a few years now that Diggs could be traded, but it became clear earlier in the day that it could be different this time around.
Diggs posted the following Tweet on his account earlier, which led to speculation that a trade was coming:
itโs time for a new beginning.

In the end, it’s probably best for Diggs and Minnesota to part ways, especially given the kind of return they got for him.
Diggs, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2015. He was in the final year of his rookie contract when he agreed to a five-year extension worth $72 million with the Vikings in 2018.
Diggs stands to make base salaries of $8.9 million and $10.9 million over the next two years of the agreement.
According to OverTheCap.com, trading Diggs will free up $5.5 million of available cap space while creating $9 million in dead money.
In 2019, Diggs appeared in 15 games for the Vikings and caught 63 passes for 1,130 yards receiving and six touchdowns.
