Another week, another strange win by Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos although it came at the cost of the injuries to running backs Willis McGahee and Knowshon Moreno. Both players left during the game which could be sign that their backfield may be in flux for next week.
The Denver Post reports that Moreno suffered an injury to his knee and is expected to miss Week 11’s game.
You can expect to see more details after Moreno undergoes an MRI at some point tomorrow.
As for McGahee, he told reporters that he could have returned to the game if it were an emergency situation.
“I’ll be all right,” McGahee said. “I could have come back in in an emergency situation.”
Having McGahee available after a short week of rest will be very important to the teams offensive attack. Denver will get the New York Jets on Thursday. Lance Ball should get some action next week.
