According to Benjamin Allbright, Broncos DL Shelby Harris has tested positive for COVID-19 and will remain on the list for another ten days at least.

Harris was placed on the COVID-19 list a week ago as a potential high-risk close contact. The hope was he’d be able to come off the list this week to play in Week 10 but this news ends that.

Allbright adds Harris is experiencing no symptoms currently.

Harris, 29, is a former seventh-round pick of the Raiders back in 2014. He was on an off of their practice squad for two years before returning to the Raiders on a one-year, exclusive rights deal.

Unfortunately, the Raiders waived Harris after the 2016 draft and he had brief stints with the Jets and Cowboys before signing a futures deal with the Broncos for the 2017 season. Denver brought Harris back last year on one-year, $3.095 million restricted deal and signed him to a one-year deal worth up to $3.25 million this past March.

In 2020, Harris has appeared in seven games for the Broncos and recorded 23 tackles, 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble and three passes defended.
