According to Mike Klis, the Broncos have promoted S P.J. Locke to the active roster.
Locke, 23, signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Texas in 2019. He was waived by the Steelers coming out of the preseason, however.
Locke caught on with the Broncos practice squad later in the season and re-signed on a futures deal for the 2020 season. He was waived coming out of camp this year and signed to the practice squad.
Locke was elevated from the practice squad for the Broncos in Week 1. He did not record a statistic.
During his four-year career at Texas, Locke recorded 160 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, three interceptions, four forced fumbles and 12 pass defenses in 38 games.
