According to Nicki Jhabvala, the Broncos are promoting DT Kyle Peko from their practice squad to the active roster and waived DL Tyrique Jarrett in a corresponding roster move.
Peko, 24, wound up signing three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in May of last year. Denver waived himย back in September and later signed him to their practice squad.
The Broncos waived Peko a few weeks ago as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit and re-signed him to their practice squad.
In 2016, Peko appeared in one game for the Broncos and recorded two total tackles.
During his one year at Oregon State, Peko recorded 45 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks and two pass defenses.
