The Denver Broncos have released TE Jeff Heuerman on Friday, according to Mike Klis.
Heuerman, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Broncos back in 2015. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2.945 million contract and made a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season.
Heuerman was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent last year when he agreed to a two-year, $9 million contract with the Broncos.
In 2019, Heuerman appeared in 14 games for the Broncos and caught 14 passes for 114 yards receiving and one touchdown.
