Broncos Request Interviews With Vikings Exec. George Paton & Patriots Exec. Dave Ziegler

Adam Schefter reports that the Broncos have requested permission to interview Patriots’ assistant director of player personnel Dave Ziegler for their GM vacancy. 

Ian Rapoport reports that the Broncos are also requesting an interview with Vikings assistant GM/VP of player personnel George Paton.

• Buccaneers director of player personnel John Spytek
• 49ers VP of player personnel Adam Peters
• Bears assistant director of player personnel Champ Kelly (Requested)
• Patriots’ assistant director of player personnel Dave Ziegler (Requested)
• Former Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff

Ziegler actually began his NFL career working for the Broncos. He worked with Patriots executive Nick Caserio and was eventually promoted to director of pro personnel last year.
