Broncos Shopping Brandon Lloyd?

Mike Klis adds that the Broncos are looking for something in the range of a third to fifth round pick in return for Lloyd.

We’ve also heard some speculation that the St Louis Rams could be another possible suitor as they’re without a legitimate No. 1 receiver and Josh McDaniels was able to turn Lloyds career around last season.

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean writes that the Titans do have interest in Lloyd but doesn’t see a deal getting done.  Wyatt notes that Tennessee is in need of a physical receiver more than a vertical threat.

Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that the Denver Broncos have been discussing a potential deal a number teams for WR Brandon Lloyd.  Klis adds that “three or four” teams and specifically mentions that the Panthers and Titans are believed to be interested.

Lloyd will be a free agent at the end of the season and the Broncos apparently aren’t interested in retaining him following the season. We have Lloyd listed as the No. 26 best available free agent in our Top 50 Free Agent list.

The NFL trade deadline is usually rather boring normally doesn’t involve names as big as Lloyd but at this will be a very interesting topic to monitor in the coming days.
