The Broncos announced they have signed seventh-round OLB Jonathon Cooper to his rookie contract.

Cooper had to have heart surgery earlier this offseason but is still expected to be ready for training camp.
The Broncos have just three more rookies to sign to wrap up their 2021 draft class.

Cooper, 23, was a two-year starter at Ohio State and a third-team All-Big Ten selection as a senior. The Broncos used the No. 239 overall pick in the seventh round on him.
Cooper is projected to sign a four-year deal worth $3,580,672 that also includes a $100,672 signing bonus.
For his college career, Cooper appeared in 45 games, making 25 starts and recording 75 tackles, 10 sacks, a forced fumble and two passes defended.
