The Denver Broncos announced that they’ve signed TE John Phillips to a contract and placed TE Manasseh Garner on waivers.
Phillips, 29, is a former sixth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2009. He spent four years in Dallas before signing a three-year contract with the Chargers as an unrestricted free agent in 2013.
The Chargers released Phillips last year before bringing him back at the start o the season.
In 2015, Phillips appeared in all 16 games for the Chargers and recorded 10 receptions for 69 yards receiving and one touchdown.
