Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Broncos are signing CB Jamar Taylor to a contract on Tuesday.
- Mike Klis confirms the news and adds that Taylor receives a one-year contract from the Broncos.
Reports from Monday mentioned that Taylor was likely to be signed if he passed a physical for the Broncos.
Broncos CB Chris Harris is expected to miss time with a fractured fibula, so Taylor is likely a fill-in option for Denver.
Taylor, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2013. Miami traded Taylor and the No. 250 overall pick to the Browns back in 2016 for theย No. 223 selection in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Taylor was in the final year of aย four-year, $3.626 million contract when the Browns signed him to a three-year, $15 million deal. He was later traded to the Cardinals for a 2020 sixth-round pick this offseason.
Arizona waived Taylor a few weeks ago.
In 2018, Taylor has appeared in 10 games for the Cardinals and recorded 17 tackles, no interceptions and one pass defense.
We had him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
