The Denver Broncos signed CB Nate Hairston off the Ravens’ practice squad to their active roster on Friday and waived FB Jeremy Cox.
Hairston, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Colts back in 2017. He was entering the third year of his four-year, $2.66 million contract when he was traded to the Jets in 2019.
The Jets re-signed Hairston in September but cut him loose after a month. He signed on with the Ravens’ practice squad a couple of days later.
In 2019, Hairston appeared in 11 games for the Jets and recorded 24 tackles, one interception and three pass defenses. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 93 cornerback out of 115 qualifying players.
