Broncos Signing DB Kareem Jackson To Three-Year, $33M Deal

Mike Klis reports that the Broncos have reached an agreement with DB Kareem Jackson on a three-year contract.

  • According to Ian Rapoport, Jackson receives a three-year, $33 million contract.

Jackson had indicated that he wanted to be back in Houston, but it appears as though the Broncos proved to be his best option in the end.

Jackson, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Texans back in 2010. He played out the final year of his four-year, $34 million contract that included $20 million guaranteed and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.

In 2018, Jackson appeared in all 16 games for the Texans and recorded 87 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, a recovery and 17 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 2 cornerback out of 110 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2019 NFL Free Agents list.
