Aaron Wilson reports that the Broncos have signed LB Reshard Cliett on Tuesday to their practice squad.
Cliett, 24, was taken with the No. 211 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL draft by the Texans. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2,370,484 contract when the Texans elected to waive him last week as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.
Last year, Cliett unfortunately missed the entire 2015 season after he sustained a torn ACL in August.
This Jaguars recently brought in Cliett for a workout a week ago, but did not sign him to a contract.
During his college career at South Florida, Cliett recorded 134 tackles, seven sacks, two fumble recoveries and seven pass defenses over the course of four seasons.
