The Denver Broncos officially waived DB Horace Richardson on Thursday.
Richardson, 26, wound up going undrafted out of SMU back in 2017. He later signed on with the Vikings and spent just over a year in Minnesota before he waived during the 2018 season and later signed to the Lions’ practice squad.
Richardson had brief stints with the Lions and Chiefs before the Broncos signed him off of Kansas City’s practice squad towards the end of the 2018 season. Unfortunately, he was placed on injured reserve last year with a back injury.
During his college career at SMU, Richardson recorded 86 tackles, 10 interceptions, two defensive touchdowns and 14 passes defended over the course of five seasons and 33 games.
