Broncos Waive DL Jimmy Bean With Injury Designation

The Denver Broncos have placed DL Jimmy Bean on waivers with an injury designation on Monday, according to Mike Klis.

This comes just a few days after the Broncos claimed Bean off of waivers from the Raiders.

Should Bean pass through waivers unclaimed, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list on Tuesday.

Bean, 23, signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in September of last year to the team’s practice squad.

The Raiders re-signed him to a futures contract in January but cut him loose last week. He was claimed off of waivers by the Broncos a day later.

Bean has yet to appear in an NFL game.

During his four-year college career, Bean recorded 104 total tackles, 27 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks, one pass defense and three forced fumbles.
