The Denver Broncos officially placed OT Ka’John Armstrong on waivers Tuesday.
Armstrong, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Eastern Michigan back in May of last year. He participated in the Browns’ minicamp this week on a tryout basis and later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with Cleveland.
The Browns waived Armstrong coming out of the preseason and he later had a brief stint with the Jaguars before signing on to the Broncos’ practice squad. Denver brought him back on a futures contract after the season.
During his college career at Eastern Michigan, Armstrong appeared in 43 career games, making 12 starts.
