Mike Klis reports that the Broncos are working out free agent RB Stevan Ridley on Thursday.

This comes after the news that Devontae Booker is undergoing surgery for a fractured wrist and could miss between 6-8 weeks.

Ridley worked out for the Jets back in May but left the session without contract.

Ridley, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2011. He played out his rookie contract before signing a one-year, $1.25 million contract with the Jets back in April of 2015.

The Lions signed Ridley to a one-year contract last April before he later releasing him. Ridley had a brief stint with the Colts before signing on with the Falcons last October. Unfortunately, he was cut loose after another just a month or so.

In 2016, Ridley appeared in one game for the Falcons and recorded just seven yards on three carries.
