The Cleveland Browns claimed undrafted rookie TE Dae’Quan Wright off the waiver wire, per Mike Garafolo.
He was let go yesterday by the Eagles in a bevy of moves. To make room, the Browns placed CB Damarri Mathis on injured reserve.
Wright, 22, started his college career out at Virginia Tech before transferring to Ole Miss. He was named second-team All-SEC in his final season.
The Eagles signed him as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 NFL Draft.
During his four-year college career, Wright recorded 113 catches for 1,603 yards and nine touchdowns in 47 games with 29 starts.
