The Cleveland Browns announced Tuesday that they’ve placed WR Kasen Williams on the practice squad injured list and signed WR C.J. Board to their practice squad.
The Browns’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Bug Howard
- LB Austin Calitro
- OT Victor Salako
- RB Josh Rounds
- WR Kasen Williams (Injured)
- DB Jacob Hagen
- OT Laurence Gibson
- NT T.Y. McGill
- DB Trevon Hartfield
- FB Marquez Williams
- WR C.J. Board
Williams, 25, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Washington back in May of 2015. He was on and off Seattle’s practice squad before being waived as the team trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit coming out of the preseason.
Williams was claimed off of waivers by the Browns before they elected to cut him loose last month to make room for Corey Coleman and they later re-signed him to their practice squad.
In 2017, Williams has appeared in seven games for the Browns and caught nine passes for 84 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
