The Cleveland Browns announced Tuesday that they’ve signed DLย Collin Bevins to a futures contract for the 2018 season.
As of now, the Browns have signed nine players to futures deals including:
- WR C.J. Board
- LB Austin Calitro
- DB Trevon Hartfield
- WR Bug Howard
- RB Josh Rounds
- OL Victor Salako
- DB B.W. Webb
- WR Kasen Williams
- DLย Collin Bevins
Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Bevins wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Northwest Missouri State back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Cardinals cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
