The Cleveland Browns announced Friday that they’ve signed DT Brian Priceย to their practice squad and released DT Zaycoven Henderson from the unit.
The Browns’ practice squad now consists of:
- OT Brad Seaton
- DT Daniel Ekuale
- DT Zaycoven Henderson
- RB Dontrell Hilliard
- DB Montrel Meander
- DB Tigie Sankoh (International)
- WR Da’Mari Scott
- OL Kyle Kalis
- TE Pharoah McKever
- CB Jeremiah McKinnon
- LB Brady Sheldon
Price, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Texas-San Antonio back in 2016. However, he was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
The Packers later signed him to their practice squad before calling him upย for a brief stint on their active roster back in September. Green Bay waived Price as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit coming out of the preseason last year and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Cowboys.
Dallas re-signed Priceย to a two-year, $1.35 million contract back in March, but elected to cut him loose. He was quickly claimed off of waivers by the Raiders, only to be released soon after.
In 2017, Price appeared in eight games for the Cowboy and recorded eight tackles and one pass defense.
