Browns Sign RB Shaun Draughn

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Cleveland Browns are signing RB Shaun Draughn to a one-year contract on Wednesday, according to his agent Sean Stellato.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported last night that Draughn had worked out for the Browns on Tuesday, so it appears as though they liked what they saw from him.

Draughn, 26, originally signed on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina back in 2011. Since then, he’s played for the Chiefs, Ravens, Colts, and Bears before joining the Chargers back in September.

Unfortunately, Draughn was later placed on waivers at the start of November.

This season, he has appeared in seven games and ran for 19 yards on 10 carries (1.9 YPC) and contributed 56 kick return yards.
