The Cleveland Browns announced that they’ve signed undrafted rookie LB Demarquis Gates to a contract on Tuesday.
Gates wound up going undrafted out of Mississippi following this year’s NFL draft. This will be his first opportunity with an NFL team.
During his four-year college career at Ole Miss, Gates recorded 282 tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss, six sacks, three forced fumbles, a recovery and nine pass defenses over the course of 45 games.
