Browns Using Brandon Weeden, Trent Richardson & Mitchell Schwartz In First-Team Offense

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Browns had first-round pick QB Brandon Weeden taking the first 11-on-11 reps during the team’s OTAs this week.

Cabot adds that RB Trent Richardson and OT Mitchell Schwartz were also playing with the first-team offense during the week as well. Colt McCoy is expected to get some work with the first-team as well, but there’s no question that the Browns are giving Weeden every opportunity to secure the starting quarterback job.
