Browns Willing To Listen To Trade Offers For Brandon Weeden & Colt McCoy

Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski told reporters on Friday that they’ll consider trade offers for Brandon Weeden and Colt McCoy.

“We’re looking to improve our team in any areas, by any means of doing that,” said Chudzinski, via Cleveland Plain Dealer.

A report from earlier in the week suggested that the Browns could consider trading Weeden, despite the fact that they spent a first-round pick on him last year. With a regime in place, it makes sense that they would keep all of their options open as the offseason draws closer.

Chudzinski added that he expects to hold a quarterback competition for the starting job during training camp.

It’s doubtful that the Browns would find even a reasonable amount of interest in either Weeden or McCoy at this point, but I guess anything is possible.
