According to Aaron Wilson, the Browns worked out free agent S Tre Sullivan on Monday.
Sullivan, 26, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Shepherd back in 2017. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Eagles cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
Sullivan later reverted to injured reserve before he was waived with an injury settlement a week later. The Eagles brought him back on a futures contract in 2018 before cutting him loose again and signing him to the practice squad.
Philadelphia promoted Sullivan to the active roster in October. He was waived coming out of the preseason this year.
In 2018, Sullivan appeared in 12 games for the Eagles and recorded 17 total tackles.
