Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Browns worked out former CFL DB Jordan Holland on Wednesday.
Rapoport mentions that Holland’s father is former NFL LB Johnny Holland, who is currently a defensive coach for the 49ers.
Holland, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Prairie View A&M back in 2016. He signed on with the Billings Wolves of the Indoor Football league. After one year with the Wolves, Holland joined the Cleveland Gladiators for the 2017 season.
The Edmonton Eskimos signed Holland to a contract this offseason, but he isn’t part of their roster at this time.
During the 2014 season at PVAMU, Holland recorded 20 tackles, a tackle for a loss and five pass defenses.
